About the project

OhMyLunch is an in-office catering solution. It provides tools for office staff to create flexible meal plans with different employee contribution types and payment methods.

The app’s users can configure their dietary preferences and allergies and select dishes based on them.

Work done by me

As a front-end developer, my work involved collaborating with the product team to implement the roadmap features for OhMyLunch.

Our team implemented features like Admin Proxy, allowing Office Managers to order meals for other team members.

I also lead the product’s expansion to the German market. I implemented the front-end part of SEPA payment integration through StripeAPI and currency and language localization for the OhMyLunch app.

During my time at OhMyLunch, there was a huge refactoring that I had to lead from the front-end side. As the business was consolidating, it was decided to migrate all the systems to .NET, which meant that the MVP version of OhMyLunch needed to be refactored as it was written in PHP.

The app’s endpoints, data models and authorization strategy were changed. My task was to refactor the front-end part of the application while it was actively being used, and new changes were still deployed in multiple regions.
